Moderate reduction renders an assessment of the nose impossible though it does appear as though the underlying fruit is ripe. This is a big, rich and overtly muscular wine with plenty of size, weight and punch to the middle weight plus flavors that brim with dry extract on the rustic but not really austere finish.
