Luigi Oddero's Barolo Convento 2017 is a homage to the estate's rich history, dating back to the early 17th century when it was a convent. This exceptional wine is crafted from Nebbiolo grapes grown on 35 hectares of prime land in Barolo, with a portion of the best-exposed sites reserved for this traditional expression.
In vintages like 2017, Oddero also bottles a second Barolo, "Convento", primarily from vineyards in La Morra. This wine is vinified and aged in the same meticulous manner as their Barolo "Tradizionale": natural fermentation in stainless steel, followed by a 25-day maceration.
The result is a wine that captures the essence of the Barolo region, with its complex flavors and aging potential. A true reflection of the terroir and the Oddero family's commitment to quality.
