Thierry took over from his father approximately 15 years ago back when most of the production was sold to négociants. Today the full production is sold as domaine bottling. This is an old family domaine with the family having over 500 years of history with the vines in Volnay. This Volnay Village is an assembly of several plots including two Premier Cru sites that make up 25% of the total 1.5ha area: Volnay 1er Cru Lurets and Volnay 1er Cru L’Ormeaux.
